Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Drydocking (UWILD) are required to ensure the structural and operational integrity of a marine asset. In the current economic climates where saving cost is a key driver along with safety however, structural integrity is of critical importance, UWILD inspection programs are becoming far more commonplace.

Master Divers is approved by all leading Class Societies to undertake underwater inspections and surveys, we conduct these surveys in-situ with divers or with remotely operated vehicle (ROV)-deployed latest techniques to deliver safer, more cost-effective subsea inspections that saves the asset owners and their clients time and money by reducing downtime, reducing off-contract times and reducing or eliminating the need for expensive and limited drydock space.

Our extensive, in-house capabilities enable us to provide you with an entire scope of inspection work, including special periodic surveys (SPSs) and underwater inspection in lieu of drydocking (UWILD), we manage the entire UWILD and inspection process, from the initial contact we create and execute inspection plans, submit the final deliverables, to meet inspection requirements with minimal off-hire time
